necklace shortcut

November 18, 2010

I don’t know what these things are actually called but you can find them if you search for Necklace Shortener.

They let you take a long strand of beads and loop them in 2 and connect them via the end loops.  Like this…

I use one of these on my “not amber necklace” and also on the little green bead necklace I picked up at a rummage sale last summer.

But until today I hadn’t thought about stringing the seed beads I picked up at the Bay Area Bead Extravaganza on Sunday into one big necklace and then double or triple it up with a shortener until today.

Maybe I’ll do that this weekend.

Because right now I need sleep.
